It died after an hour and when you turn it on, shuts after 5-7 secs.

Just an update. I wedged a resistor on the ac-on and and stby5v and seems to have done the trick. Will update if anything happens.

Same tv, same problem. My friend gave the tv for me to work on. They use it with the back cover off. I can watch for hours but last few days just a few minutes then a few seconds. Both fans work. I tried most of the suggestions here that I can understand. There doesn't seem to be any caps bulging. There seems to be a buzzing sound which I am not sure is normal or not. Any other suggestions? There are too many boards to replace this tv.Leave a comment:
