Hello Bob , this is Mike who bought a couple of your daughter boards last year and picked them up from your place . The amps I repaired with them are still going strong .However my original Vox mini 3 which was always working has just failed while I was tapping quite loudly a microphone plugged into the appropriate socket ( it was continually cutting out before the final demise ) . Do you have any more of your product ? , also I have lost the emails with your contact details . Could you help at all ? hope you are keeping well , Mike . { mic }

Re: Vox mini 3 amp
NOW WORKING !!! Thanks Midibob for those daughter boards for the Vox Mini 3 amp . I have now fitted them to the two amps I have .( both had that microscopic and blown amp chip ! ) What a great way to bypass that original chip with a minimum of fuss .They were really well made by you and your instructions to install them very clear and easy to follow . It was only my clumsy soldering that caused me a problem !. They now sound identical to the original working model I had and have the same max. volume . BRILLIANT ! So much better to be able to fix such things which...

Re: Vox mini 3 amp
Hello Bob , I would be really interested in one of your 'daughter boards' . What was the chip you eventually used ? did you originally use the TPA 2034 and did the gain on that seem OK . What gain is your daughter board chip rated at ? I hope it has been successful for you , I am impressed . Would you be interested in selling an example or selling the wiring spec. ? I would really like to get my amp going ,( I have one that works fully and its very good ). I did message you several months ago and thanks for your replies , Mic .

Re: Vox mini 3 amp
Hello Midibob . I too have a Vox mini 3 in pieces , and with some weak logic , and the powerfull evidence of your repair success , suspect I have the same problem . More weak logic and no knowledge lead me to ask whether it would be remotely possible to try and do this repair with hairdryer , thermometer , powerful optics and bloodymindedness .I have been on a short learning curve and never dreamt any of the micro repairs and components used were within human grasp . How stupid of me . Please get in touch if you could offer some advice . many thanks , mic . I...
