Good hello everybody, very happy to have found this wonderful forum.

So a little bit of background:
I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 PH317-51-75QG - some time ago due to the degrading health of the battery the laptop would shut down if it were not plugged in. At some point after this happened the laptop stopped booting.
I have reason to believe that this might have been due to an interrupted bios update that windows has intergrated into windows updates as of recently.
