Forgive the intrusion and being late to the party. But, I too have a belly up EGO charger. In fact it was in searching out for an obviously fried R 58 on my board that led me to this thread, on this site, of which I am now (obviously) a member. You guys are miles if not light years ahead of me re:all things electronic...but in meager beginnings to dip in a toe, I just have to ask...did you find R58 to be a 430 ohm 5% tolerance? You fellows have lost me at the other components that could be likewise affected, but since I find no obvious signs of damage except the slight scorch on the top of the...
