I purchased the Seiki SE39UY04 in 2014 to use it as a monitor for my computer. A couple of months ago it started making a strange noise each time I turned the TV off. Last week it started to make a high pitch noise all the time. It also started to behave strangely as the color palette was intermittently all messed up. It looked like a switching power supply problem. I opened the TV and I found a couple of 1000uf x 25v were bulging. I stumbled upon this site while trying to find a Replacement capacitor for an HP Power supply I'm trying to repair. I have been causing short circuits since I was 13 and I'm 50 now so I started before PCs existed and my first was a TRS80 model 2 with a Cassette tape. Later I got the memory expansion and a 5"1/4 Drive. I hope I can make a cotribution to this forum.
