could the water/damp have damaged the Silego Controller? i think it's used in the start up process?...

Quick Backstory, the Surface Pro was in the back of my car, and got some liquid inside it (didnt know at the time and charged it, and tried to power it on)
The area it affected was the botttom side of the board near and including the usb ports...see photo)
it was only damp in that area for around 3/4 days, i cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol and a gentle brushing.
