    Toshiba tv cf32g50

Well I hate to bother you guys, but I'm going crazy trying to find a site where I can get a service manual for this Toshiba TV CF32G50. I think this 1997 TV is too old. I know I'm crazy trying to fix this set but I need a chalenge. So if anyone knows where I can get the service manual I would apreciate it. I have the blinking red light so I think it's a power supply problem. Never worked on a Toshiba before so it will probably a chalenge for me. Thanks if you can help!

All I did was start the unit up with the woofer switch on to make the sub woofer stay on all the time. I got the blue light and the unit started to produce sound. I still need to work on the quality of the sound. I was looking at the posibility of recapping to help out with the clipping I believe I'm hearing. Since you seem to be very familiar with this Harmon/karmon Ts 14 woofer what should I be looking at to help out this problem? Thank You for all your help!

Thanks for everything I got it to work! I was wondering if I could ask you you another question? I still would like to know what could be the cause of the speaker acting as if it is over driving? It's not clear as it should be. It producing the base sounds well but it has sound like the speaker is being over driven. Any ideas?...

I have replaced the caps with the ones you suggested and reinstalled the choke coil 35 uh ferrite core 25 I had. However, it still not working. Is it possible that they were not installed properly? I thought that the caps were bi-polar and it didn't matter how they were installed. I had the same feeling with the coil. Was I wrong? How should I check to see if the coil is bad? I'm new at this and I need someone such as yourself to help me. Thanks for your time....

I had the same problem and it seems we are in the same boat. C16 & C17, L1
are all obsolete parts and I found some caps that are (non polar 10 uf 100v 20%), however I can't find a replacement for L1 (choke coil 35 uh ferrite core 25) I clean up the board and installed the caps left L1 in however It still doesn't work. If you are able to find some let me know! jmbjr10...
