The TV can be turned on or turned off by remote but not pictures or lights on the screen. All the voltages are OK on the power supply. The y-main board does not function, however, all the fuses and transistors are good.... -

I have the same problem with this model Sony TV. However, the serial number is 1756743, which is very close to martino's tv (Canada) it doesn't belong to any ranges of mainboards sold in shopjimmy.com. Any idea if 1-857-092-11 can work on this serial number? Thanks.Leave a comment:

Have you tried reset the eprom. It work for model LNS4051. following is from other forum:
Short out the eeprom pins 5 & 6 .The easiest way is to carefully solder a thin wire (about 6" length) to each of the 2 little round pre-soldered pads that lie in front of pins 5 and 6 and use the wires as a contact breaker to easily shorten the pins. 2. Turn on the power - Instead of the usual noticeable relay click, you get a faint click, the backlight stays off, nothing else happens. 3. I wonder if anybody have success of fixing a mainboard got killed by a thunder storm. The power supply 17V is only 5.11V to the main board for the audio amp. The set won't show any error code and the LED show solid red for a minute and then it is off and back on right away. The 1.2v and 1.8V, 5V are fine. -

Got a Sony KDL-52XBR4 turns on for 3 seconds and turns off then red standby led blinks 13 times and pause and blinks 13 times pause.
Find out that means
[13] Blinks => DAC [Digital to Analogue converter] error. Main board should be troubleshooted.
Anybody had success on fixing this problem? many thanks. -

The TV picture flickers, and the CPU Heatsink on the main board is hot. There is a repair kit sold on Ebay. Any idea what is in this kit, there is no any description of the kit.... -

Just borrow this thread, the fuse F880 on this power supply is blew, It marks 125V 5A. I wonder it is a fast blow or a slow blow fuse? So far, I replaced it with a 4A fast blow fuse and the TV works. However, it may blow if there is power surge.Leave a comment:
