Hi! I gave up. I came to the conclusion that it is best to find a battery or use the laptop only on the charger. It is not good to repair the BMS. Thanks for the advice!

Hello! I'm here to look for solutions to reset the EEPROM memory of a Lenovo E540 battery of 62Wh and 540mAh. I even bought a new one on the market (aftermarket BTIBM30) because I couldn't find an original one but it doesn't work. The laptop sees the percentage but blocks the battery charging probably because of the Chinese BMS. In the bios I don't have an option for the battery and I didn't find an older version (v1.57). I replaced the Lenovo BMS with Chinese cells but in windows it doesn't read the battery percentage and says it needs to be changed. I have 12v between D and the red wire....
