And I put the clip in the wrong way a couple times when the BIOS chip was still soldered. I probably Just burned It or smth- The laptop was tuning on alright
- I played around with the clip + programmer
- Laptop stopped responding, Power Button led on, capslock led on, fan spinning, and shopping, spinning for some 30 seconds, shopping
- I unsoldered the chip, to test directly on the programmer
- Now, I went to test as stj suggested, if the laptop is feeding the right voltages (without the chip soldered)
- Same behavior as #3, so, to my thinking, the laptop was behaving as if there was no bios

I tested also, no shorts in the bios chip between any lines, so no internal shorts ig.
CH341 CS → chip pin 1
CH341 MISO/DO → chip pin 2
CH341 GND → chip pin 4
CH341 MOSI/DI → chip pin 5
CH341 CLK → chip pin 6
CH341 VCC → chip pin 8
These are ok, idk if the mapping is right, but connections ok.
When idle the programmer is getting 3.3v in all ports, which I think is right idk
About the laptop:
No shorts there, and
1 -> 3.3 2 -> 3.3
3 -> 3.3
4 ->...Leave a comment:

About the sparks, it was little ampere sparks I believe, just when I connected and disconnected sometimes, like when you plug something to a wall socket, not really big sparks, just, the bright little sparks when the connection is closing
Also, I have now bought an fvsig, jvsiq, and a generic one that is for my motherboard CE470 NM-A821 Rev:3.0
I'll be testing them around 16/07, when they come...Leave a comment:

CH341 reader not recognizing WINBOND 2564FVS10
(for fun, that's my first time writing to bios chips, and I'm kinda winging it, but now I hit a wall)
I'm the images, there is my programmer, and the way I soldered, and the way I'm trying to use this setup.
I confirmed on the bottom of the chip, and the solder connection is great, the grabber is grabbing and such.
All started when I was playing around with the clipper, before I realized I had to install drivers. Some Lil sparks and etc. Thinkpad e470 now only turns on fans, capslock led and power button led, but no signal.
I realized the driver...8 Photos -

How to flash bios with thinkpad e470?
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, since it feels like i should already know this

https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...37#post1835037
i already had found this script before, and it's nice to have the bios now, since i didn't even knew how to dump it! Idk if it's the same as dumping...
