Hallo again,

I think the CPU is shorted.

I take another power supply, the other one was to weak.
With 1V and 3,5A I saw 2 hotspots with the thermal cam.

The CPU and one mosfet (PQZ3) from the CPU circuit.
I soldered out and the short to PQB01 is gone.
But after PQZ3 mosfet it‘s still shorted to ground.
The hotspot on the CPU is still there.


Does anyone have any helpful tips or can the motherboard be thrown in the trash?
This is my first time repairing something like this. Please excuse the many questions....

Drain of PQB03 had a short to ground
PRB03 had a short too. PRB03 had on both sides 0,0 Ohm, but it's an R005.


Of course I only used the HP power supply.


I couldn't find anything with 1V and 1500mA and isopropyl. I will get a thermal imaging camera.​
