That would be the right answer 99% of time, but sometimes there are some drives that have wrong SMART reads, I.E. huge amount of "power on hours", "start/stop counts", etc... so I learned not to completely trust SMART tests if you suspect a drive might fail....

I have had some seagate drives that were ticking and lasted long after that, but as many have adviced you, you should back up your data asap, and if the drive is under warranty RMA.Leave a comment:

Monitor w2207 ILIF-031
Hello folks, I'm having some troubles with my monitor (HPw2207) it has one VGA port and one DVI port, the DVI stopped working but the VGA works just fine. The thing is I can't find the specific driver pcb ILIF-031, I found some with VGA+HDMI ports and I don't know if it would work fine or if it'll have some compatibility problems. If anyone have some idea if this is a common problem and can be fixed or if I can use the HDMI model. I'd appreciate any kind of advice. Thx
