Re: Vizio E470vl Dreaded white logo no backlight
Ok, so I have some good news. I was able to exchange out the main board that I just purchased and the 2nd TV broke. With the newly exchanged main board, TV 1 is working again.
drpj23, yes I have a digital multimeter. How would I test to see if I have a short in the backlight of the 2nd TV?
Thanks

Re: Vizio E470vl Dreaded white logo no backlight
Here is an image of the IC from the power board to the main board. I think this is what you were asking for as it relates to voltages of the connector.
Also, when I put the 2nd main board into the 1st TV. The same problem occurs, white logo, no back light....

Here is the crappy part. The second E470VL, when you pushed the power button. The Vizio logo went from amber to white, but no back light, picture or sound. I thought I read here that a new power board would fix that. So, I ordered the new power board and it still had the same issue. Then, I got the bright idea to take the new main board that I put in the 1st into the 2nd...
