Haha. i did it. the chip reader was in the wrong place on the adaptor. I looked again to some tutorials and i aligned it ok then as soon as i pressed on the detect button it recognize it as W25Q64FW. Did erase-write-verify, with no error on verify. Soldered it back and the laptop was alive once again

i'm out of ideas...I unsoldered the chip from the MB, i put in the 1.8v adapter, the programmer read it as 3_EEPROM, ATMEL, AT93C46@16. I selected SPI-FLASH, Winbond W25Q64FW (1.8v) as this is the only chip with 8MB and 1.8 v , did a read test but it gave error chip not empty but i performed anyway erase-write-verify but at verify it still says error on some address...The only thing different then with the clip it was it took a whole lot longer to erase and write.
Noob question, is it possible i am not aligning correctly the chip with pin 1 (the round small circle on the chip...

Yes i did erase the chip every time. EZ detects mine as W25Q64FW(1.8V). by default. And yes, i am using an adapter for 1.8v. If i search in EZ programmer database there is no 25Q64JWSIQ
Hmm, yeah i am using the clip. Would a normal heat gun work?
Here is a photo of my chip:...

I tried flashing the one from post 207 you added there, the name is the same as on the lenovo site : e8cn41ww so i think the bios is ok, but i still got a flash check error at address: 2001Fh. I think the chip has something, because before i flashed in windows the wrong bios, i had issues with the laptop. It wasn't shutting down completely, always had to press and hold power button, then when i started it, it would stay black screen for at least 3-4 minutes tgen it would open the windows logon, or in some cases it just spined the fans like crazy without any image displayed. It did so even on a...

I have a Lenovo Idea Pad 3 15ADA05 with SN PF25MJ4G. The bios chipset is Winbond 25Q64JWSIQ. The laptop is briked due to wrong bios flash. I got myself an EZ2019+ programmer but the bios.cap is biiger then the chip (8mb), I tried flashing
NM-C821 DUMP.rar _posted on the first page) but i get flash check error address 0H and the laptop is still bricked (black screen). The programmer detects my chip as W25Q64FW(1.8V). If i search in the EZP2019+ app after 25Q64JWSIQ it founds 0 results. Anyway, is recoverable my laptop? Or should i burry it?
