    Yes it is very weird! 95% of the time the TV works perfectly. But it is annoying to have to get up once or twice a day to smack the back of the TV. Yes I know this sounds lazy but its hard when you have a sleeping baby in your arms... Thanks for the link and the advice! It looks like that one is perfect for the first one. The one under the heat sink unfortunately I can not see so I will have to wait till I have time to really take it apart before I can give the specs on it.

  • Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37

    Hi All,

    While watching TV at very random times the picture goes black. It still has sound and appears to still have back lighting. Not sure if this will help but when it happens all I have to do is smack the back of the TV and the picture comes back. Also sometime I get the rainbow of vertical colored lines just before it blacks out.

    I opened her up yesterday and found what I believe to be two bad caps. One is easily fixable and seems to be just slightly raised. The second (left arrow in photo) I can not see very well because it is under a heat sink. It apears to...

    Hi Guys, I hope you don't mind but I wanted to ask a quick question about my TV. It is this exact model. I bought it new back in 2007. Almost a year later I started having this problem:
