I chose a different compatible chip — the [B]Winbond 25Q256[/B] — which I saw is similar to the [B]25B256DYIG[/B].
I managed to extract the BIOS, but I'm not sure if the dump was done correctly, because the file contains a lot of zeros and doesn't look like other BIOS dumps I've seen online.

Could someone please take a look and confirm if it was read properly? I just want to make sure I have a valid copy of the original (locked) BIOS so I can proceed with unlocking it.

I'm working on unlocking the BIOS password (lock code: 8FC8) on a [B]Dell Latitude 5400[/B], and I'm trying to do it myself. The motherboard model is [B]LA-G891P REV 0.1[/B].
