How difficult is it to get the back cover off of this set? Can it become while standing up or must it be laying down? Thanks. I want to work on mine, but due to a spine issue it would be much easier if I could do it with it on the stand. Thanks.

Any more comments if this sounds like capacitor problems? Plus does anyone know how difficult it is to get the back off? Can it be taken off standing up

Tom, happen to have a service manual for an Olevia 242-T11? Did not see it on your site? Also, any power supply boards for this unit laying around?

I have an Olevia 242-T11 that is close to 3 years old. About a month ago it started coming on with no sound. Sometimes changing sources would bring the sound back, and sometime turning it off and back on would bring sound back. The Aux sound output always works. Well, about a week ago, it started having power up issues. This model has a blue light that is on on standby and off when on. When you would power it up, the blue light stays on. You have to hit the power button multiple times. Usually, when you power up, the light goes off, in a bit you get the Olevia splash screen, then you get the picture....
