hoping it goes smoothly as only got the laptop today. Installed Debian and it auto updated a firmware update that corrupted the bios…. Will be turning that feature off in the bios if I manage to fix it.https://Ok will do, I found this gui...t auto updated...

I managed to find it but it has just corrupted the bios more as I had an error message after an auto install I believe it was a MT code had been wiped from the bios, the laptop would randomly shut off and it did so when updating the bios 😬. I have ordered a bios chip flash tool and will re flash from one of the many clean bios .bins from this thread once it arrives. Hopefully that will fix it.
