Hey all. Newbie to this type of work.
Have a Dell optiplex 3000with a 222003-1 | 9PVYR$HA motherboard. (picture attached)
During a bios upgrade power went out and now the machine won't boot. Wanted to flash the Bios externally using a programmer (Xgecu T48) before giving up and taking it to a shop. Need help locating the actual bios chip on the board itself since there are a few of them that I can see. Any help would be appreciated.
Is there a schematic that shows location of components on the board?
I'm thinking its the gigadevice sop8 that located by the battery?...

Hello all.
I'm Dave. I like electronics and starting to get into the hardware side of things. Component level stuff. For a hobby right now. I just want to learn and understand how stuff works. I'm a mechanic by trade, so this is a new adventure for me but not that much different when it comes to troubleshooting. Also want to learn to help teach my kids something and maybe encourage them to get into electronics, where i think the future is heading into more and more.
