Hey that worked, thanks!! Idk how you guys do it but I'm very grateful.
Also, strangely, hitting Ctrl + Enter inputted an extra character, and hitting Enter after that failed to unlock the bios.
But putting in the code and hitting enter regularly without ctrl worked. I'm not sure what's going on there why it put in an extra character but regardless, that password worked.

I hate to be that guy to bother about this, but I see this thread is recent enough for me to ask.
I have a service tag [B]BJW2VZ1[/B], for an Alienware 14 laptop with an Admin password that will not reset for crap (even shorting the two pads near one of the large BGA ICs did not work when the schematic said it would reset the password... Must've meant system bios password and not admin bios password).
