But seriously folks, I'm very glad that this forum exists. I finally got around to registering and here is my introduction post.

I have been in electronics since the 1980's and started my career as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy. I am now the Director of Quality for a semiconductor distribution company.

I'm glad to participate and hopefully share a nugget or two along the way.

Wouldn't it be fabulous if all Manufacturers would provide Decrypting / Decoding information available for Top Markings. The biggest challenge that I find is trying to decode various alpha-numeric date codes into an actual Date or Week of Manufacturer. Cross-referencing to YYWW from Richtek 7CX0A (for example)....
