I'm new to the Badcaps forum and excited to join this community of electronics repair enthusiasts! I have some experience with basic soldering and component replacement, but I'm still learning when it comes to troubleshooting and board-level repairs.
Currently, I'm working on an [B]iPod Shuffle 1st Gen[/B] that has a power issue. While replacing the battery, a small component fell off the board, and I'm unsure of its correct orientation for reinstallation. I'm hoping to get some advice on identifying and properly soldering it back in place.
