Problem Solved.
One of the 470uf 16v capacitor had cold solder.
Re-soldered and the monitor works fine.

The monitor is connected to my desktop. I have been using this monitor since last 5 years.
The power button is lit all the time till I power off the monitor. The rest button does nothing when pressed.Leave a comment:

Dell 2005FPW monitor flashes red, green, blue and white full screens every two seconds. Tried to factory reset the monitor but the front faceplate buttons for reset does not work. How can I do a factory reset manually without using the faceplate buttons.
