The photos on this forum are very good, but the equipment is probably of high order and expensive. What cameras and attachments are typically used?

I am extremely grateful for this post-- it exactly addresses my concern about a DELL Optiplex 320 whose mainboard caps began to leak at some point. My original question had been, "How long do I have before the crashes start?" But now I understand the PSU probably has been shouldering the burden of maintaining system stability, so immediate attention to the mainboard caps is the next step....

So.... some years later, what do you have to report about the 26.8V "centrist" value? I found your analysis fascinating, especially since I am in exactly the same dilemma as you were back in 2009. I have an APC SU1400NET, (1) I chose the cheaper Rhino batteries, rather than APC (2) have had fairly good life and performance (two years+) during modest UPS activity and (3) now the fan is running all the time.

Time to replace the batteries, of course, but since another...
