Hello,

I am a newb to chip reprogramming. I purchased a ch341a with the Clip adapter as I accidently bricked the bios on a loved ones Dell Inspiron 15 7548.

I am now on THE QUEST to understand the fundamentals of this skill set as it is much needed in my family.


I am now at the point where I am attempting to extract the bios from .exe that i downloaded from the manufacturers website.

After 4 attempts I am stumped and frustrated. I have never used a Hex Editor and wondering if there is a way for me to do it without the Hex Editor? If not...
