@ tom66 - I only bought the board not the whole tv. i guess they could of bought it with a cracked screen and assumed the boards are good, seems a bit amature but you never know.

Guess i could give the cables and connectors a clean. its worth a try.

these pics are using a new t-con board from a known ( so they say ) working screen, it had a cracked screen, bought from ebay.

What Dd you think? this poss another faulty board?

Here are the pics, taken 2 in menu as it is a little more visible. these are with the new t-con board and cable. As i said the old board and cable will not show any picture at all.

Hi Sorry to hijack your thread, new to the site and wasnt sure where to go. i Have the same problem with a friends samsung same model by the looks of it. I have changed the t-con board and the t-con cable which has resolved the issue it came to me with. My friends now tells me that the problem it now has ( Red vertical lines and some other colours now and then ) is the original problem until it stopped showing any picture at all other than the lines.

I was wondering if that the problem was originally with the main board...
