Yes, I just did it on my Mac Pro 2013 "Trash Can (MacPro6,1) but I rolled back to Mojave since the other images weren't working I thought Monterey wasn't letting me boot to those drives.
Used Disk Utility to restore the .IMG onto a thumbdrive, restarted and held down Option. Booted into the serializer.
After putting in the serial number (twice, one for verification), it went and checked the computer for 10 minutes and it said that there were no problems. Then I restarted and checked - I now have my serial number back!
Thanks again [USER="240937...

Thanks a TON! With all the other methods and images out there, for some reason this is the only one that has worked for me.
I even rolled back to Mojave!
I have a Mac Pro 2013 "Trash Can" (MacPro6,1) which I put a spare Apple SSD (256GB) and installed Mojave (because I thought Monterey wasn't allowing me to boot to the other image thumb drives I made).

Hi all! My first ever computer experience was on a Commodore VIC-20, which my cousins and I did basic programming from a Commodore magazine? Took hours to play some ASCII games. hah! Wow, that was so long ago. Then eventually graduated to gaming on a C64 - sold my dad on the idea of me doing my homework on itThen the Amiga 500 and started using Macs for work close to the other machines of the 386 Windows 3.1 variety? haha
Now just a computer user, don't do much programming aside from some HTML/CSS and maybe some PHP? Unix interaction from time to time on VPS. Have Mac Pro 6,1...
