I've got a reference 680i T1, which I've just traded out via RMA with a reference 680i BR which just pulled a C1 memory killer on me. One thing I've noticed was that the boards used different caps

The BR, the first revision, used samxon caps on the PCI/PCI-E slots and in random, smaller places - but used Rubycon MCZ 16v 1800uf on the right hand corner, on top of the ATX 24 connector, and several other Rubycon MCZs to the left of the CPU.

The T1, the new revision, uses exclusively samxon caps throughout the entire board. The 16v 1800uf MCZs have been replaced by samxon...
