i found a Winbond Chip on the second PCB under the Mainboard, next to the USB-CPort. Anybody knows something about that ? is that a second BIOS Chip ?

You can use a Pogo Connector. Versions for 5x6 and 8x6 are availlable. I found mine on amazon and it worked just fine for my V110G5...Leave a comment:

Hi everyone,
this is my first try working on a bios chip.
i have a Getac V110 G5 with a bios problem (i guess). i was updating the firmware through Windows Update on Win11 and then nothing. Only keyboard lights and display backlight.
so i hope i can revive that computer.
