It's not working any more for T480s.
On latest BIOS FW it asks for password even after correct shorting. I don't know how, but they closed this glitch with software updates.

Unfortunately, I'm not one of them. And I don't know what to do with my T480s.It's not working any more for T480s....

This won't work. The file you provided has exact hash as bios_PATCHED.bin that I get after using auto-patcher.
Maybe I need to follow "ME Firmware Cleaning Guide" to succeed?...

Recently bought used T480s. With locked BIOS, sadly.
After flashing (with ch341a) patched version of bios, laptop boots blank. Short lighting of keyboard, than screen is black and fan also stops and nothing happens. Then I flashed original bios, and everything back to normal. But I need access to bios settings to make some changes, so I have to find way remove this password.
Any help, please?
