I have the same problem with an EDM-033 on a CFI-1214A. I replaced the Winbond with the corresponding file, but after a while it malfunctioned again. The cooler starts and turns off. After that, when you press the power button, the blue light comes on and beeps 3 times and turns off. After a while, it turns back on, and after a while, the same malfunction occurs again. I re-soldered the BGA on the CXD and after that it lasted much longer, about 3 or 4 weeks, and then the malfunction returned.
