• Thank you! I may give this a try! My current clip is wonky and my chip is right by a cap, making it difficult to clip on with the traditional adapter. This seems to come from above rather than the sides. Thanks again!

• Cool! Since we own multiple of the same laptop, I thought it just might come in handy for the future! Thank you for the excellent instructions!...

• Okay! Belay that request! Thank you to all who came before me and shared their experiences. We finally have it up and running. Woohoo!
I somehow mismatched different 16MB and 8MB bios files.

• Greetings. Is anyone available who could help me with a bios for Laptop 1 in the previous post? Laptop 2 is at least working as long as he does a full shut down every time. But Laptop 1 is a no-go right now. I am not sure if I am adding DMI correctly. I will repost the above information for Laptop 1. I had limited success with the Bios at: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubleshooting-hardware-devices-and-electronics-theory/troubleshooting-laptops-tablets-and-mobile-devices/bios-requests-only/3319592-need-bios-lenovo-legion-5-17ith6h#post3319736 post 2

• Greetings, will the LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER work on Lenovo Legion 5 15ith6h which is equipped with 2 bios chips (an 8 and a 16)? We ran it on both dumped bins, but it saw the files as corrupt. • Greetings and thank you for your help here. I have learned so much.
I have two same-model Laptops that both seem to have identical issues. One stalled mid-update. The other is possible, but no one had eyes on it.

Here are my original dumps. I would very much appreciate hearing your wisdom and experience on this topic, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you...
This is my first other-than-intro post. Please let me know if you need more information.

• Greetings,
I recently came across badcaps with a search for the infamous bios issue during Windows update on not just one but 2 identical Lenovo Legions. So, thank you, thank you for the work you do. I am a Mom-Geek who likes to fix our computers rather than replace them. So thank you, thank you! Just in case I didn't say that before.
