I just noticed now that that ripped pad represents NC(no connection) and i was there thinking it could be the source of my problem, I guess I could just try flashing the BIOS...

HP probook 9470m turning on, no response or display
I can't find the signal trace of this ic on the probook 9470m, board number is 6050a2569401-mb-a01,And I need to use a jumper wire to sort out the ripped pad of the middle leg on the three legged side of the ic(u4501).
Please help -
