Bottom of the board meaning the back side of the board? Just trying to be clear on what pictures to post....

I just noticed these 2 caps on the main board. Do they look like they are getting ready to burst? All the other caps are smooth and seemless, those 2 have lines going down towards the center like the top is getting ready to split open....Leave a comment:

Power plugged in, pushing the power buttong does nothing, no lights on the front or anything.
I tried testing the connectors like selldoor suggested but getting no readings at all.

There is a legend. I am using the same multimeter in my other picture. I am touching the black rod to the GND and the red rod to the other pins but getting no readings. With the TV plugged in....Leave a comment:

I think my pictures came out pretty clear. I can try and take better ones and repost them.
Right now I am stuck, I really want to repair this TV myself but I am finding very limited information and I am not sure how to test the power connectors.Leave a comment:

Did I lose you guys? I am just curious why you wanted the pictures of the boards but never commented on them?
I spent 2 hours examining the board yesterday and I do not see any problems with any capacitors. I do not believe the problem is with the power board.Leave a comment:

Resistance rading on what? I have a regular tester it has x10 ohm and x1k ohm when I tested the fuse with it the needle flies all the way to the right....Leave a comment:

OK finally got time, I opened the back panel and examined every single cap and they all seem intact. I found a fuse on the large board which the AC connecter connects to.
Is this the fuse you were talking about? I can't seem to find any other fuses.Leave a comment:

I have this nice LG TV last week during a thunder storm it stopped working. No lights or anything are working on it.
Do these things have power supplies that might be out? I can repair computers and other electronics and would like to repair this unit myself.
