Vizio 65" Model M3D650SV standby only
Standby light only won't turn on from either tv or remote. No visual signs of leaking caps.
Before tv went dead I did have a fine line running from top to bottom, about 4 or 5" from right side of tv. One Black line at first then months later it became two and three, other lines were different colors. The lines would stay on for about 10 minutes and faded away. Was thinking a dirty ribbon cable until this happened. Tv can't be more than 5 years old at best.
They just don't make stuff like they used to. Second flat screen that went down. Thanks to all the people on this site...

Re: Samsung LN40A630M1FXZA
Its back poor picture problem just as before. I stream netflix and picture is fine. Main Board problem again, last one only lasted 3 months, used. Should there be something else to look for? Anyone have any knowledge to exactly what goes on these main boards? Cable end of the board is the problem, week signal choppy picture popping noise sometimes, reboots sometimes. But I can stream netflix with no problem!

Re: Samsung LN40A630M1FXZA
Did the blow dryer trick to the power board no change so I did the same on the main board and the picture came in perfect thanks to budm, now if I can isolate what part it is and change it out it would save me buying a main board. Problem seems to be in the upper left hand corner near cable plugs, see post #2, theirs no caps like on the main board there but if someone can steer me in the right direction i would take a crack at it. Soldiering is not a problem.

Re: Samsung LN40A630M1FXZA
Strange if I hook up a dvd player to it the picture & sound if flawless. It does still take a long time to turn on and I still get lines all over screen but when out off cable mode it works fine? Makes me think its something on the main board may be the problem, any thoughts or help would be great. Thanks in advance people.

Re: samsung 46inch problem

going to tear the caps out anyways only 10 dollars ordered a kit even tho they look good there a few 10v ones in there. replacing all 10. I hate replacing parts that may be good but who knows i dont have a tester to check them on the board.

Problem: tv turns on after a few reboots sometimes pictures comes on with lines, then clicking noise. Then when it does come on and stay on I have a choppy picture and sound. Signal strength up and down confirmed but its just this tv. My cable feed is fine. All stations are like this expect for a few music stations that have a still picture. From the menu button screen is fine. Took the back off to check the caps someone had replaced the all 4 to 25v caps. There is one thats a different color but still the same value. There are still a few 10v caps but they look fine. I read somewhere to replace...

Re: Gateway MA7 laptop won't charge or run off of A/C
Think we need a schematic for this Ma7 board, hope someone can post it here.
Did that mod and it fixed my board for a few months, does it work with your battery out?
My problem I have a mosfet I think is bad but can't seem to find it anywhere.
PQ17 on the bottom side of board. Location, under the wire from the hard drive that leads to a small white plug near the modem jack # D2ZD stamped on the chip with a 22 sideways has 6 legs. You have to move the wire to find it.
A Lager 1/4" hole...
