    Update: Yes, it WAS a silly question! I have since found photos of the internals of the 55” Proscan posted by other owners and I see no cable/harness between the points I was asking about. So, I did get that question answered.

    The latest news on my Proscan: It is now up and running fine. It had not previously stayed on any longer than 10 minutes before going into the shutdown/cycling/screen flashing mode. I have run it for over 8 hours now without a single hiccup.

    I just came across this forum. Sounds very promising!
    Been struggling with my 55LC55S240V69 for weeks, so it's a little comforting to know that I'm not the only one. I've been through most of the steps discussed so far. I have one silly question that dawned on me today. I know that it's not unusual for there to be connectors on boards that have no cable connected, but I was wondering if there should be a 4-wire cable connected between the main (tuner) board at XP3 or XP4 and the Pre-TCon board (TX9B261990D) at CN15? There was no cable between these...
