Re: Samsung Plasma FP-T6084 LJ41-04812A Y-Main Board
Hello and thanks for your response. I know what is positive and negative on the top of the board its the bottom that i am worried about, both solder pads are gone and i don't know where to ad a jumper wires to fix that. Are you saying on the bottom of the board where the tabs are missing the dark green is + and light green is -. The first pic is the bottom of the board with no solder pads the second one is the same one that you have listed in your pic. Thanks for your helpLast edited by bullmastiff135; 03-31-2013, 06:13 PM.

Samsung Plasma FP-T6084 LJ41-04812A Y-Main Board
Hello everyone my friend just brought this TV to me after he tried to fix it. I asked him please don’t work on it bring it to me. I have fixed 11 TV’s in the past and they are still working till this day (bad caps). I am left only to LOL at this y-main board that he monkey F______d never in my life have I seen this much damage. He had an old solder iron that burnt the solder tabs off trying to replace the 25v 680mf cap; he then took a small drill bit to remove the solder from the holes on the board. I told him that he would need to find the traces on the board to solder a jumper wire...

Thanks for all your help I am at work right now I had brought the T-Con board in with me but the TV is at home. I will try the ground test tomorrow and get back with you. One more question what if I just soldered one wire to both ends jumper and tried it???? Just wondering if it would do any other further damage to the Tv !!!

Samsung LNT3253FX/XAA no picture with sound
First of all Hello everyone and yes I am new to this forum, but not new to broken TVs and computers. I am a Asst Tech manager at a computer shop here in MO. I have been lucky and fixed 3 of these broken Samsung TVs. I just got this from a friend about a week ago he works at a recycling place and gave it to me. Well the good old TVs has sound dim back lights and no picture also has no blown caps on power board. I think i have a bad fuse on my t-con board not sure might be the main board. I see that there has been post of the same problems but never seen the fix. I need some help guys and thanks...
