I just wanted to say thanks, as in the end this is indeed what I had to do. I had quite the journey with mine though. For a start, the shorting process on an X1C6 is pretty timing sensitive, so it took many attempts. Then once I was able to reset the passwords, I got an error relating to the serial number having been cleared. I got around that using the LenovoUOne tool available somewhere on github. After that, my laptop went into a reboot cycling with the dreaded "Configuration Changed" message. I couldn't get into the BIOS and couldn't flash a new BIOS using a bootable USB stick....

Thanks, but that hasn't helped unfortunately. I managed to get it to post again with the attached file, which is my original BIOS with TPM fixed. Running autopatcher on this BIOS still gives me the same tone and no display....

I have an X1 Carbon Gen 6 that is supervisor password locked. I used autopatcher and now unfortunately the laptop just plays a tune and there's no display (with the intrusion sensor taped down). Would someone mind having a look at the BIOS for me please?
