I had a desktop form factor mini-server die on me a few weeks ago. Through my initial diagnostics, I was convinced it was the motherboard because when I shorted the Green wire on the ATX connecter, the multimeter gave me all the correct voltages on the various pins of the ATX connector and 5VSTB was also correct. To my surprise the replacement motherboard wouldn't turn on with the case power button either. I threw in another PSU and it turned on right away. This is an 80 Plus EVGA 430W PSU with PN:100-W1-0430. I pulled the cover off and don't see any immediately obvious blown caps or scorch...

This one seems to have pretty identical dimensions (based on the drawing on mouser), but it doesn't have the EMI spring. Should that matter? OK, I'll start digging. Are the pin mappings between the mating pins and the board pins pretty standard or do I need to pay attention to which pins on the connector map to which pins on the board? I looked at Digikey and Mouser but neither of them carry Astron parts that I could find. I'm OK with another brand, I just need to figure out whether it's a matter of matching the dimensions or if I also need to pay close attention to the pin mappings.

If I'm not wrong, the two questions that spawn from that are 1. Are there any others that are compatible? and 2. Where can I buy one? I have an MSI Ventus 3X OC nVIDIA RTX 3070 with a damaged HDMI connector. The display is recognized but no display output due to the damaged right-side of the connector. I've got the board apart and the back of the HDMI connector is stamped Astron. The problem is that their site has 30 pages of HDMI type A connectors ([URL]http://astron.com.tw/eng/product.php?idt=1&pid=3&cid=1[/URL]). Does anyone know how to determine which part numbers are compatible and then where to source them?
