    Unfortunately no luck . Still the same issue - long delayed startup (turning on) and no backlight. Abscence of schematics means no way to figure out what's wrong and to repair . I even went extra mile for this laptop - ordered an original pre-programmed chip. It didn't help either. Looks like BIOS is not a problem here. Suspect that maybe CPU is on it's way out due to overheating. CPU seem controls almost everything these days...

    Unfortunately there is no possibility to get corrupted BIOS backup since my laptop is with IT technician and the BIOS is corrupted anyway. That's why I asked for full backup of known good BIOS from the same model which someone might have.

    Hi again. I flashed provided patched BIOS followed by firsr boot, second boot instructions. Unfortunately Security Settings can't be restored to defaults - current Admin password request is popping up. So my laptop boots up with red warning message 'System boots up in Manufacturing Programm Mode..... . Can't get rid of it. BCU tool doesn't allow change any vallues due to Admin password. It's still there. Provided patched BIOS allows to bypass BIOS password an access BIOS but it's not removing it . Could you help with it please?...
