yeah, I disassemble the monitor very lazy and carefully. It took me 3 weeks. I have to thanks the r-sherwood, who sent me the diode. But without this forum , i will be fuck_d!
I didnt believe it will work :] . But as I see how much people have the same problem ... i dont trust Dell anymore. It wasnt the cheapest LCD :] infact its one of the most expensive... and such design mistake is not cool.
Anyway. LCD is back thaks the good people here. So I wish everybody long further usage of their repaired monitors...Leave a comment:

yeah.thanks. I've finally put the panel out. Cut the motherboard...and now i am fighting with the power board. I have get out all of screws... but it holds there like a biaaatch... and cant get out the power board...Leave a comment:

OK. I will try cut my monitor on weekend. And try get out the PSU. Than it would be easy I guess.
One question left. I am from Europe...so I have 220V electricity. And the STPS40170CT is up 170V right? isnt that problem?

My 3008 wfp yesterday died. Power light just went off and now I have nice 30" black screen for 1000USD at my desk ... fckng amazing...
Have already somebody done some DIY or tutorial how to replace that D22?
