Thank you, shiyab for the bios file you sent me. Works perfectly....

Recently used a Selek MLK AMD 19802-1 FGRDN$JA to confirm that that the GD25Q8OCSIG (8M-bit) chip is blank. I've attached the backup bios from my motherboard (Selek MLK AMD 19802-1 FGRDN$LA) to see if anyone could create a clean bios from the latest bios update (1.24.0). Thank you.

Apparently the Winbond W25Q128FWSQ 128M-bit (16MB) chip is the correct bios. I did take the motherboard to a local computer shop that wrongly indicated that the GigaDevice GD25Q80CSIG chip on the other side of the motherboard was the correct chip (see image). Coincidently, another GigaDevice 25Q80CTIG (8M-bit) chip is located near the Winbond chip on the front side of the motherboard. Thank you for clarifying the correct chip and size for me. Any help to revive the bios for the GD25Q80CSIG will be greatly appreciated.

I erased the original contents (all FFs) of the bios file, since I thought it was garbage. However, the files I downloaded from this thread are all 16,384 Kb, where I need it for 8 Mb. How do you get this file to write to the chip if the size is too large?

Hi all. A few months ago, Dell kept auto installing BIOS version 1.21.0 that produced a BSOD overwriting a working 1.20.0, thus bricking my system. The CH341a USB Programmer was able to detect the chip GD25Q8OCSIG (8 Mb) and erase it, but I am having problems getting a decent BIOS dump. Have tried the .bin files from the post of Selek AMD 19802-1 FGRDN$JA, but the size is 16,384 Kb, which is larger then the chip creating an error, "the data to write is bigger than the chip size."
Does anyone have a working BIOS for this system? Latest version is 1.23.0. Will I have to inject...
