I replaced all the capacitors on the secondary side of my Gigabyte P450B power supply with Teapo capacitors, upgrading the 2200 µF ones to 3300 µF and the 680 µF ones to 1000 µF. Essentially, I was throwing out garbage before. However, there was a change at the 5VSB rectifying diode, as I found an HSR1060 in it. This was replaced by an SR860 with reversed placement (not polarity!). I didn't touch the capacitors between the two heatsinks, as desoldering them was difficult, and I didn't want to risk damaging the SMD components or the circuitry....

Hi all,
I would like to develop my own P450B (350 Watt max) power supply.
I want better FETs. RDson should be less. I want better capacitors here as well.
I want my power supply to continue to work normally, not to be disturbed, but to heat less!
Big question: What kind of FETs can be good?
EDIT: TO220 diodes generate a lot of heat.
I would replace these with a cooler equivalent.
I think FETs will stay.
