Toshiba 37WL66E REGZA - Picture Flicker
Hello Badcaps,
Please take a quick look of zipped video clip.
The problem is flickering, slight colors distortion, faint ghost image shadowing.
I haven't opened the back case yet, would appreciate any suggestions on repair.

Pro Vision HQL320WR - Stuck on Stand By
Hello Badcaps,
I got this Pro-Vision 32" LCD with 'LG Panel' as it won't turn on anymore and they wanted to throw it away.
The stand by led is on but strangely it's lit orange color as if both the red & green are on.
Checked the voltages on power board - all show zero but
they come back to life when 1 specific conn disconnected from the main DVI/VGA board (only needed to remove the cable marked with 'I' to see all voltages come back).
The [B]P106P[/B] connector pinout is: GND, +5V, ST_BY_5V, +9V, MAIN_ON, LVDS_ON, GND.

Figured the small on off button does not power the tv so used a remote control and its ok.
Next issue seen is a dark spot on the right half.
Is there a chance to fix it or is it a faulty panel?

Hello,
This LCD set is not turning on.
Upon pushing the on off mechanical switch, the relay was heard for couple of tries but nothing came on the screen.
Now, without changing anything, the relay does not click anymore.
Only red standby led in front is on.
Attached:
1) Power Board pic (not mine but shopjimmy's)
2) A Toshiba report I found about an Q801 STR-Z4569 and near it, a big blue poly cap C803 that may burn out...
Is this fault only related to main power board?
I'm not sure how to test these and I could not obtain... -

lol martino, indeed this was a very fast repair.
I went to 5 electronic parts stores and to my luck the 5th one had it.
The IC was a bit pricy (~10$) as expected, compared to numerous of these super cheap on ebay from China.
The store rep claimed they had once bought some faulty/counterfeit stock of these, I do not know if this is true though...
I just wanted to repair my coworker's set (as he intended to give it to the scrap guys).
The teardown was tricky as the tcon is well buried...Leave a comment:

Replaced [B]AS15-F[/B] Gamma IC on T-CON board (PN: T420XW01 / 06A39-1A) and now colors are back to life.

Toshiba REGZA TV 42WLT68 - colors problem
Hi all,
Please see attached pics.
I'm trying to fix this set but don't know which part is responsible for displaying the correct colors.
Can you please guide me where to look.
Tried the A/V , Scart , VGA inputs so far - they all show the same distorted colors.
Will try HDMI tomorrow.
Also, could not locate the schematics anywhere, would appreciate if you can post it.
