• Buffer data does not match SPI chip!

Hi all, after several attempt, I finally got a working CH341 Pro working USB device. Now I'm able to read dump the BIOS

When I verify the image (800G6_EC_RCunlocked.BIN found on this forum) I receive "Buffer data does not match SPI chip!". I tried different programmer but the message is the same. Anyway, I removed the password but I see at the boot the HP Message:

"HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem"
...

• the issue is that. I'm facing a lot of issue with the micro clamp connector: the yellow led "RUN" on the usb key sometime disappear completely while I'm dumping. Probably I have to change clamp and use another method...

• well, I bought different cables and now I successfully dumped the old bios, so it was just a cable and connector stuff. If I put the file into the RCUnlocker it says: "Missing unlockable Content"
I noticed that during the writing of the Unlocked Image (fond in this forum) I received an alert from the Programmer saying it has hit an error, so I clicked continue and the Programmer stuck.

BTW now I successfully installed the new unlocked version! hooray!!! The HP now give me the ability to enter into the BIOS and Security settings but I have a message at the beginning:...

• a little progress here: I finally received the programmer but when I connect it to the motherboard, I receive this message:
IC Not Responding
only once I got the message while using the ASprogrammer 2.1.0.13...I was able to read but not to write

any idea? thanks a lot !

• hi there! I'm an "old" Italian geek, started in 1986 when I was a kid....now I found this forum because a recent buy on Ebay, I have to remove the bios password from an hp elitedesk....I'm always curios on these type of things and flashing BIOS is my first time in more than almost 40 years ! BTW I'll use this unit as a third proxmox node for my home lab. Thanks to all!!

• hi, I'm in a rabbit hole: I have the "OK" from the RCUnlocker_v_1_0 and so I loaded the 16MB "800G6_EC_RCunlocked_unlocked.BIN" inside the NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10. If I click "Detect" I only see:
Connecting Error CH341 (Not found)
Connecting Error CH341 (Not found)
Connecting Error CH341 (Not found)
IC not responding
I'm running Windows 11 directly on top of the HP Elitedesk G6 800, do I have to desolder ?

what can I do now?

Thank you !!!!!
