Caps getting Hot!!!!
Hello everybody on forum,
I came across lots of boards with badcaps. Some of them are leaky, bulged or getting hot. But recently I had a ASRock P4i65GV motherboard with 2.8GHz HT processor & 1GB RAM. I noticed that almost all caps across CPU are getting extremely hot (untouchable). Even the coils with ferrite cores are getting hot. At present motherboard is working well except CMOS settings are getting lost when PC is switched OFF and ON (battery is changed but of no use). What might be the reason?? Can anyone throw light on the condition of this motherboard.
