hi , its my first thread at this great forum ,,,

the problem :

i have a hp g62 m.b , with no power

the power light is ok , its light up , and i have on coil pl5 5v , and pl9 3.3v , and the bios chip , has 3.3 v

this m.b has two bios on of them near to the I/O ,and the other is near to the mb chip , under it actually ,

so ,, i think the problem is with the first bios , but i can't find it , can any one help me , plz
by the way , the cpu is printed on the mother board ,

can i ask what is the job of pu2 on the motherboard , its seems its make alot of problems

i have laptop repair shop ,,, i got more than 7 laptop hp g6 has the same problem when i change this ic its work ok

when i plug the charge , its light ok , and 5v ,3v ok , but when i press power its gone ,,, the maual says its for dis-charge ic , what that mean ?

its main problem with toshiba , but if the cpu broken then the motherboard will not turn on , try to install another one , with same specification , and if it donne work , then test the cpu circuit for a short ,
