Hi,

A friend of mine has an HP 245 G9 laptop that was given to him by his school for his studies. He accidentally spilled liquid on the PC and when he turns it on it wouldn't boot up. It displays a black screen which says that the BIOS is corrupted and that it would recover automatically when rebooting the laptop but it still displays a message saying that it can't find the files or they are corrupted. He gave to me to have a look at it. I disassembled it and noticed some oxidized components which I cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. I thought that it would solve the problem but no unfortunately....
