Re: Possible Purchase Vizio 42" VO420E Black Vertical Band
I have a vizio that almost looks the same as the first pic. The difference is it is the whole left side. When I leave it on for about 30 -45 mins. it works great. Is there a shot that it is the tcon board? I was wondering this because of it working fine when it runs for a while. Any ideas will be very helpful. Thank You in advance

Re: Vizio E322Ar Picture Problem
Thank you for your response.
The board I was looking at sold. The other one is $90. It seems like a hard board to get for a 32 inch. Tons of them for a 42 inch. They are the same board, the only difference is where the cable plugs in that goes to the panel.

Re: Vizio E322Ar Picture Problem
Has anyone ever fixed on of these?
The heatsink is NOT bolted on, it's soldered on.

Can that be fixed?
Or should I replace the board?

Re: Vizio E322Ar Picture Problem
I will try to get a pic of the screen board but I will have to take it all apart. I had it apart already and tried moving it and there was still no changed.
I don't know how to do a scart out to a scart in test. I have tried heating it up and nothing changed. I did do a factory reset. No change.
How do you replace the eeprom.
I would just like to say thank tou for all your help on this.

Re: Vizio E322Ar Picture Problem
The markings are
LD1117A
G12AOL
But shouldn't I read 5v on pin 3?
All readings are with the tv on.Last edited by johnpeg; 01-22-2014, 01:15 PM.

Re: Vizio E322Ar Picture Problem
I tried cleaning and reseating the cable already. Yes it does it on all inputs, as soon as the tv turns on. There is no point that the pic. is good.
I can not tell you when it started I just got the tv.
The board seems very hard to get for a 32 inch tv they are all for a 42.

Do you think it's the board and not the display? I found a board on ebay for $45.
