Does anyone have the bin file for the 25Q80DVSIG chip? I accidentally erased that chip instead of the BIOS chip.πŸ˜₯

Additionally, I programmed the 25B128CSIG (BIOS chip) with the file provided on the forum for the Alienware 17 R4, (Alienware 17 R4 Service Tag GWKWLH2.bin). However, after powering on the laptop, the fans spin briefly, and then nothing happens. If I leave the laptop on, this process repeats.

Now I understand that the 25Q80DVSIG is not the BIOS chip, as SMDFlea mentioned. However, I now have two problems:

I accidentally erased the 25Q80DVSIG 1 Mbit chip, and I'm not sure how to recover it. πŸ˜₯
I'm still trying to identify the correct BIOS chip and find the appropriate bin file to program it. I have a feeling it should be designated as UH4 and the chip is (25B128CSIG) please correct me if I am wrong
Any help would be greatly appreciated.SMDFlea

On my laptop, I have a 25Q80DVSIG chip, and the laptop model is Alienware 17 R4. Does this mean that I cannot use the "Alienware 17 R4 Service Tag GWKWLH2.rar" file? I downloaded this file and used UEFITool to extract the BIOS section. However, the BIOS section is 8 MB (Mega Bytes) not 1 MB.

Can someone please help me and share a BIOS .bin file for the Alienware 17 R4 so that I can program the BIOS chip?...

In my Alienware 17 R4, the EEPROM chip is a 25Q80DVSIG with an 8MB capacity. I'm wondering why the bin file is 16MB. Could you please clarify if any post-processing is required? If so, how can I extract the BIOS bin file to flash it using an EEPROM programmer?

    Alienware 17 R4 Service Tag GWKWLH2.rar (has a 16 MB bin file.)
